Illicit drugs

any substance that can be misused, not including alcohol or tobacco products

Opioids

substances derived from morphine; can include natural (morphine, codeine), semi-synthetic (hydrocodone, oxycodone), synthetic (fentanyl, methadone), and illicit opioids (heroin, can include illicitly produced fentanyl) 

Prescription drugs

refers to any prescription medication that can be misused, including pain relievers, stimulants, and tranquilizers/sedatives 

Stimulants

substances like methamphetamine, amphetamine, cocaine, and khat; can include any misused prescription stimulants

Tobacco products

includes any nicotine products, including electronic cigarettes or electronic vapor products (vapes)
